Through three realistic patient journeys spanning adolescence, reproductive years and perimenopause, participants will develop practical skills in assessing treatment adequacy, understanding reasons for treatment failure, initiating and monitoring second-line therapies, and recognising when specialist referral is indicated. The session combines expert GP and non-GP specialist perspectives with extensive discussion focused on real-world decision-making in general practice.\n\n# Learning Outcomes\n1. Determine whether a patient with endometriosis has had an adequate trial of first-line hormonal therapy, using defined criteria for agent, dose, duration and symptom endpoints.\n2. Explain why some patients do not respond to first-line hormonal therapy and what treatment escalation entails.\n3. Initiate and monitor second-line medical therapy, including PBS eligibility, counselling, monitoring requirements and referral criteria.\n4.
