About

This short-form activity invites GPs to critically reflect on their recent management of endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, reviewing decisions around escalating hormonal therapy, surgical referral, and ongoing multidisciplinary care.

This activity comprises a short educational video, followed by a reflective activity. Participants must complete both components to qualify for 30 minutes of Reviewing Performance (RP) Hours.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Outline an evidence-based approach to escalating hormonal therapy for endometriosis, including when to consider second-line treatment.
  2. Critically reflect on recent interactions with patients and to optimise long-term care for patients with endometriosis or persistent pelvic pain.
  3. Apply a multidisciplinary approach to the pre- and postoperative management of endometriosis.
