This website (including https://praxhub.com, https://app.praxhub.com, https://on.praxhub.com and https://help.praxhub.com) and all other associated Praxhub pages and websites (collectively, the "Site") is owned and operated by Praxhub Pty Ltd (ACN 168 435 612) ("Praxhub"). Praxhub may be referred to in these Terms of Use as any of 'Praxhub', 'we', 'us' or 'our'.

By using this website, you accept Praxhub's Terms of Use

Your access to and use of the Site is conditional upon your acceptance and ongoing agreement to comply with these Terms of Use, including all notices, conditions and disclaimers. Your ongoing use of the Site constitutes your continued acceptance of these Terms of Use.

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to explain the terms and conditions by which visitors to the Site and registered Praxhub members can use the Praxhub platform. It contains important information, including ownership of content, how Praxhub manages personal information, how Praxhub manages the safety of its registered members (including what may constitute inappropriate behaviour) and Praxhub's general disclaimers.

We may change our Terms of Use at any time, and without notice to you

Praxhub reserves the right to update these Terms of Use without notice. Accordingly, visitors to the Site and registered Praxhub members are encouraged to periodically familiarise themselves and re-visit these Terms of Use.

Access

To access the Site, visitors and members will need to access the world-wide-web (Internet) using their preferred Internet browser. Visitors and members acknowledge that:

  • by accessing the Site via the Internet, usage charges may be incurred from their Internet Service Provider, wireless carrier or any other method by with the Internet is accessed to use Praxhub;
  • if there are any costs or charges associated with accessing the Site, including any software, hardware or equipment charges, these will be the visitor's or member's responsibility;
  • the Site is not supported by all Internet browsers, including Internet Explorer. For the best experience, visitors to the Site and Praxhub members are encouraged to use modern Internet browsers, like Google Chrome.

Registration and Personal Information

Praxhub is a professional community for healthcare professionals and those working in or associated with healthcare, so the accuracy and completeness of a member's personal and professional information, both in registration and Profile creation, is very important. Praxhub, therefore, requires that:

  • members are over 18 years old and currently a registered healthcare professional, healthcare student or trainee, or a non-healthcare professional who has an interest in or is associated with the healthcare industry;
  • those persons who are not a registered or licenced healthcare professional register on the Site as an "Other Healthcare Professional";
  • the information that is provided is complete, accurate and up to date;
  • members do not falsify any of their personal or professional information, including information that relates to their identification as a healthcare professional or location of practice;
  • members do not create more than one account, and if their account is terminated by Praxhub for any reason, they will not create another account; and
  • members not let anyone else get access to their login details or otherwise have access to their account.

Keeping your login details safe

To access the Site, registered Praxhub members will be required to enter their username (email address) and password. It is important that these login details are stored securely and treated as confidential.

If we know, or suspect, that your login details have been shared with a third party or inadvertently disclosed, we may choose to suspend your account temporarily or permanently for security purposes. Alternatively, if we know or suspect your login details to have been compromised, promptly notify the Praxhub Support team via email at support@praxhub.com.

How materials may be used on our Site

The Praxhub Site is an aggregation service for the delivery of education and other information ('materials') to a global community of healthcare professionals. Materials are made available by Praxhub and other third-party organisations, which Praxhub members can view or engage with on the Site.

Praxhub is either the intellectual property right owner, or licensee, of all materials on the Site. In either case, all materials made available on the Site are subject to copyright protection and may only be reproduced with the permission of the copyright holder.

Where materials can be downloaded, for example from the resources section below a video, those materials must not be modified or altered in any way. Further, no downloadable materials may be used for commercial purposes, without the prior consent of either Praxhub or its licensors.

No reliance on Site information

Praxhub contains information on the Site that is of a clinical and scientific nature. This information is aggregated from third-party providers and Praxhub for the benefit of Praxhub's members.

All materials made available on Praxhub, including education materials and member generated content, is provided on an 'as is' basis. Praxhub provides no warranties, whether express or implied, as to the currency, completeness or accuracy of that information. The information made available on the Site is of a general nature only, and not information on which a Praxhub member should rely. Further, none of the information provided on the Site should be considered or construed as providing medical, clinical or other advice. Instead, all Praxhub members who access information on the Site are required to exercise their own independent and professional judgement.

Member Generated Content and Information

We encourage registered Praxhub members to share their thoughts, opinions and content ('member content') with other members. Member content may be shared via discussion threads, activity feeds or other forums on the Site. Any content produced by a member and shared with others, belongs to the author of that content. Additionally:

  • for any content a member generates, including text, images or videos, you give us a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the member content for the purpose of, or in connection with, Praxhub.
  • we have the right to reproduce, modify, display on the Site or disclose member content to third parties for any purpose.
  • you acknowledge that while your content may be deleted at any time, your content may be stored by Praxhub in backup files or for archiving or security purposes.
  • you further understand and acknowledge that any content which you generate is non-confidential and may be visible to other Praxhub members. Care should be taken when contributing content, in full consideration of the Member Safety guidelines set out below.

You separately represent and warrant that:

  • you have the right or permission to contribute the member content;
  • none of the member content which you contribute will infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party or infringe on any laws;
  • you will endeavour to contribute content that is accurate, evidence-based and adheres to the objects of this Site - which is to promote better health outcomes.

Praxhub will not be liable to any third-party for any member content that is unlawful, or otherwise in breach of these Terms of Use. If any member content is determined, at Praxhub's sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms of Use, we reserve the right to remove the content and/or suspend your account (as further described below).

We appreciate any feedback you may provide, including any enhancements or improvements to the Site. Visitors to the Site and registered members acknowledge that any suggestions made to modify or improve the Site may be implemented without any recognition, attribution or compensation of any kind.

Privacy of Personal Information

Member Safety

Praxhub is designed to be a positive and collaborative environment, where professionals can freely exchange information in a safe and collegiate way. As such, you are required to:

  • treat other members with dignity and respect, and have respect for the diversity of opinions and experiences;
  • act in accordance with commonly accepted industry practices and standards;
  • only publish content, which is reasonably believed to be accurate, based on best practice professional judgment (and not known or suspected to be misleading); and
  • comply with all laws, regulations, industry and association codes of practice.

Similarly, you must not:

  • engage in any conduct on the Site that violates any federal, state, local or international law;
  • intimidate, bully or harass other members or incite any of these things;
  • post any content about any member or organisation that is defamatory;
  • post or contribute content, which by all reasonable standards is inappropriate, pornographic, gratuitously sexual in nature or contains gratuitous acts of violence;
  • impersonate, or attempt to impersonate, the identity of another Praxhub member (or any other person), such as to deceive Praxhub's members as to your true identity;
  • post any materials that would constitute advertising or promotional content, without our prior written consent;
  • allow non-members to access Praxhub; or
  • rent, lease, sell, sublicense, assign, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, loan, distribute, export or otherwise transfer, or allow others to use Praxhub, technology or other information, nor create derivative works.

If any member reasonably believes that another member is not acting in accordance with these Terms of Use, that member can be reported by emailing support@praxhub.com.

Removal of content or termination of membership

Praxhub takes the obligations to provide members with a safe, collaborative and respectful environment very seriously. Praxhub wants all members to enjoy their experience free of bullying, intimidation or harm. Therefore, if Praxhub is made aware of any member who infringes these Terms of Use, Praxhub reserves the rights to:

  • delete or edit any member's content, which Praxhub believes in its absolute discretion, violates these Terms of Use;
  • delete or edit any member's content, which Praxhub believes violates the law, infringes any other third-party's intellectual property rights;
  • remove any member's content, which Praxhub believes is disrespectful to another member, has the potential to incite violence or hatred toward another member; or
  • immediately terminate the membership of any member, which Praxhub believes in its absolute discretion, violates these Terms of Use.

Prohibited uses of the Site

The Site may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with objects of making health information more accessible and promoting better health outcomes. You agree that by accessing the Site, you will not:

  • use any robots or automatic processes to 'scrape', copy or acquire materials from the Site, without our prior written consent;
  • use any device, software or routine that interferes with the operation of the Site;
  • implement, arrange or orchestrate an attack on the Site, including a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack;
  • attempt to access any parts of the Site or Site's infrastructure to which you are not authorised or specifically given the requisite permission;
  • introduce any spyware, viruses, trojan horses or other malware that has, or has the intended effect, of causing harm to the Site.

Registered trademarks

'Praxhub' is a registered trademark of Praxhub Pty Ltd (ACN 168 435 612). You are not permitted to use the 'Praxhub' mark without prior written consent.

The Site additionally aggregates content from other content providers who display their organisation logos, product names and other registered trademarks. Praxhub members and visitors to the Site are not permitted to use the marks of any content providers without their prior consent.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The resolution of any disputes connected to these Terms of Use is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

General Disclaimer

The content in the Site contains the thoughts, opinions and experiences of contributors and other members. Praxhub is an information platform and is not to be used as a substitute for each member's own medical and professional judgment, diagnosis or treatment of any health condition or problem. Members should not rely on any information contained in Praxhub for diagnosing, treating, curing, preventing, managing or otherwise addressing their patient's health problems.

Accordingly, the information contained in Praxhub, including, but not limited to, any text, photos, other images, video content and other related items, are intended as a reference resource and not as a complete reference.

Praxhub provides the content 'as is' and has not taken any steps to confirm the accuracy of the information provided by contributors or presented by members. To the maximum extent permitted by law (except for liability that cannot by law be excluded), Praxhub is not responsible for any errors or omissions or for any consequences from the application of the information and make no warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to the currency, completeness, usefulness, or accuracy of the contents of the information in the Site.
