Essential Pain Management (EPM) Online

The EPM course is designed for any healthcare worker who comes into contact with patients who have pain – doctors, nurses, specialists, students, physiotherapists, pharmacists, as well as administrators. It is suitable for undergraduates.

EPM Online takes the content from the full EPM course, which is designed to be delivered in a face-to-face.

The course will take you approximately 2.5 hours, from start to finish. You are able to stop, save your progress and return at your convenience – the course doesn’t need to be completed in one sitting.

EPM Online contains a number of videos, with interactive and visual teaching along with text based learning. The course includes a resource section with additional links and information for those wishing to access this.

The course has a pre-test, several mini-tests throughout, and a post-test. The post-test requires an 80% score to then receive a certificate of completion, which can be used for your professional development records. If you wish to attempt an improved score, you will be able to review the course content, and re-sit the test. You will need to complete a short evaluation of the course in order to access your certificate.
