About

About 1 in 15 Australians live with diabetes, and around 1 in 7 of them don’t yet know it.¹ This short practice review, developed by Praxhub with Diabetes Australia, asks how you would manage five common diabetes scenarios, how confident you feel about each choice, and which areas you most need help with. You will receive a personal report comparing your answers with your peers, and you will reflect on one change you could make in your own practice.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Evaluate current management of five common diabetes scenarios with current RACGP and ADS guidance.
  2. Critically reflect on the relationship between clinical confidence and actual practice and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Identify one planned change to diabetes care in your practice over the next 12 months.

Who can take part?

This practice review is open to general practitioners practising in Australia.

Closes: 11:59 pm AEDT, Sunday 1 November 2026.
