Practical support for diabetes management in general practice
General practice is at the centre of diabetes prevention, diagnosis and care. Diabetes Australia’s GP education is designed around the decisions you make every day, from identifying people at risk and intensifying treatment to protecting cardiovascular and kidney health, using diabetes technology and interpreting CGM data. As Australia’s national peak body for people living with, and at risk of, diabetes, we work closely with GPs and other health professionals to support high-quality, evidence-based diabetes care. Our work includes co-developing Management of type 2 diabetes: A handbook for general practice with the RACGP and supporting delivery of the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS).
Explore our accredited CPD for GPs, including live webinars, on-demand learning and short practical activities across type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, gestational diabetes and diabetes technology.
