Care of the Elderly

As the Australian population ages, there is a growing need for GPs to assist in managing the healthcare needs of their ageing patients. By presenting the latest data and case studies, experienced Geriatricians aim to educate GPs on how to identify signs & symptoms and management options for Frailty and Functional Decline along with identifying Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) in older Australians.

In the current situation, with the pandemic, concerns affecting the elderly population cannot be overshadowed.
