Chest Pain – presentations, assessment and management update for GPs

This educational video aims to present the approach for and initial management of patients presenting with chest pain in general practice. It includes specific case studies as practical and helpful examples of presentations, identifying severity, assessment and evaluation tools and when to refer for risk stratification and management.

1. Identify contemporary assessment tools for diagnosing chest pain syndromes.
2. Define the utilisation and roles of different imaging modalities in risk assessment and chest pain diagnosis.
3. Discuss the use of fractional flow reserve assessment in angiography.
