Pain Management - why we should take it seriously

This video is a great introduction to the global context of pain management, it aims to help Healthcare Professionals understand how and why poorly-managed pain is a global health issue. Pain is often misunderstood, in terms of its causes, and how to address these. This video discusses how misconceptions about pain have exacerbated mis-management and looks at key strategies which can be adopted to address the issue, and explains how pain can be managed.

In this video facilitated by Dr Roger Goucke (FANZCA) it features two separate short lectures - one by Dr Wayne Morriss, focused on understanding the broader global context of pain, and one by Dr Goucke, focused on the importance of and benefits from treating pain.
