About

This video focus on some common presenting problems that affect men’s health. Men are less likely to visit a GP than women and may not have the health literacy or confidence to discuss certain issues that impact their health and wellbeing. Lower urinary tract symptoms are common with symptoms increasing with age and male sexual function is impacted by a complex range of biopsychosocial factors. Our presenters explore the range of treatment options for medical management of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) and best-practice ways to discuss and engage patients in treatment planning about their sexual health.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Identify best practice approaches for the medical management of Lower Urinary Tract symptoms.
  2. Outline factors that support a whole of person care approach for those experiencing erectile dysfunction.
