Sometimes patients present with wounds that are difficult to close, and it is impossible to bring the wound edges together. This talk provides an understanding of the local flaps that can be used to close these wounds, and how to perform them. It provides tips & tricks to avoid complications, and insights on how to avoid the most common pitfalls.
The presentation is directed at any doctor or nurse working in trauma, asked to manage wound breakdown after surgery or the management of chronic ulcers and wants to know how to get them to heal.
