Through expert-led presentations and interactive discussion, participants will explore contemporary evidence-based approaches to addiction medicine, fitness for work and driving assessments, emotional dysregulation, and emerging therapies. The program also seeks to strengthen collaboration between primary care and specialist services, providing practical insights, referral pathways and resources that support improved patient outcomes, continuity of care, and recovery-focused treatment across a broad range of clinical settings.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this CPD activity, GP participants will be able to:

1. Apply a structured approach to assessment and management for a patient presenting with suspected substance use disorder.
2. Discuss the benefits of treatment plans for patients with ADHD that include relevant pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
