This educational activity aims to provide a practical framework for the management of obesity as a major cardiovascular risk factor, with a focus on its impact on coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and cardiometabolic health. This activity will cover the cardiovascular consequences of obesity, the challenges it presents in cardiovascular assessment and diagnostic investigations, and strategies for lifestyle and pharmacological weight management. An overview of emerging anti-obesity therapies and their cardiovascular benefits will support evidence-based clinical decision making.
