Learning Outcomes

At the end of this CPD activity, GP participants will be able to:

1. Evaluate patients presenting with persistent or unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms using a structured diagnostic approach.
2. Interpret key diagnostic findings to distinguish benign gastroenterological conditions from pathologies requiring further assessment.
3. Recognise gastrointestinal red flags and implement appropriate referral pathways for patients requiring specialist assessment or urgent investigation.
