In this high-yield session for busy GPs, you’ll gain practical, immediately usable skills to manage common musculoskeletal presentations—including work-related foot & ankle injuries, ACL tears, and shoulder conditions. Learn when (and when not) to image, streamline your referral decisions, and confidently navigate workers’ compensation, certification, and billing.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this CPD activity, GP participants will be able to:

1. Identify and assess common foot and ankle work- related injuries.
2. Provide support to the injured worker consistent with the relevant work injury scheme to enable a safe return to work.
3. Apply evidence-based approaches to the diagnosis and initial management of ACL and shoulder musculoskeletal injuries.
4. Identify red flags in orthopaedic presentations and determine appropriate referral pathways to optimise patient outcomes.
